Frejus Miougrano santon fair

The folk ensemble Miougrano Frejus organizes its ^34th fair Santon Saturday December 4 to Wednesday, December 22, 2021 in Riculphe room of the Town Hall of Frejus.

 La Miougrano offers 19 stands that allow you to prepare a real Provencal Christmas.

 This fair welcomes 17 santonniers from all over Provence, which makes it one of the largest and undoubtedly the most beautiful santons fair in the region and therefore in the world!

 On these stands, you can find the work of the best santonniers in Provence, both on the small clay figurines, essential for Provencal cribs, and the large dressed santons, all made and painted by hand according to the artisanal tradition.

 Also present at the show, a regional bookstore, as well as nougats, fruit jellies, pasta, almonds, honey, Christmas cookies, and all the good things essential for the 13 desserts of Calendal New Year's Eve.

Welcomed by members of the Miougrano in traditional costumes on weekends, and to the sound of drummers, these large animated santons will serve mulled wine to warm visitors!

A pleasure for the eyes and a must to prepare well for the calendal festivals!
